44th Ötztal Cycle Marathon in Sölden - every year, around 4,000 cyclists share a dream: to complete the most challenging road cycling marathon in the Alps. The circular route spans 227 kilometers, leading from Sölden over 4 Alpine passes (Kühtai Pass, Brenner Pass, Jaufen Pass, and Timmelsjoch) into South Tyrol and back. Participants conquer an incredible 5,500 meters of elevation gain, with the fastest among them reaching the finish line in a record time of almost seven hours. Do you share this dream?

From November 23 - 24, 2024, a major sporting event in a class of its own will take place in Gurgl, opening the winter 24/25 with a women's slalom on Saturday and a men's slalom on Sunday of the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup. The race starts on the Kirchenkar slope in Hochgurgl and ends 320 m above the Top Mountain Crosspoint. In addition to the race, exclusive evening events await you at the Gurgl Carat congress and event center in Obergurgl.
